Adventurous Trek on Trois Mamelles Mountain – Full Day hiking including picnic lunch:
The Trois Mamelles Mountain is one of those mountains which looks so extraordinary as if someone lay them down there, as in paint.
This atypical mountain is located on the west of Mauritius with three distinct sections. Each is peaking at approximately 600m.
This is a unique trek up to the summit of the mountain and along its ridge.
You make your way through a tunnel which goes deep down into the mountain, and discover pristine forests inhabited by stunning multi-centenary trees.
In some areas climbing is needed. Climbing on the central peak is done free hand in two short sections. At some the path is in the open and more exposed while in others the path goes through the bush.
The sight from the summit of Yemen Nature Park and its plain is breathtaking.
When on the top, the drops on the both sides are rather impressive and frequently the adrenalin peaks ups.
The panoramic view is awesome and most rewarding for this challenging climb.
