How can you order an activity on this website?
The order process is very easy and guarantees maximum safety:
- Choose the activity you desire
- Choose the order specification (quantity, number of participants, desired extras and so on)
- Choose between ordering an open voucher, or reserving an activity for a preferred date (in case you choose a preferred date, open the calendar and choose your preferred date)
- Proceed to checkout / shopping basket
- Pay online with your credit card while using a secured (128bit encryption!) MasterCard certified payment system
- Receive by email the payment conformation, and the open voucher or your booking confirmation for your preferred date
What is the Customer oriented ordering system?
Following our dedication to our customers, we are the only company in Mauritius offering a multiple order system which entitles our customers to choose between two order methods: Open Voucher or booking an activity for a specific preferred date.
On each of the activities pages you will find the option to choose between booking the activity as an:
Open Voucher for the activity
Or
Book the activity for a preferred date
What is the “open Voucher”? How long is it valid for? How can I use it?
The Open Voucher is a unique option offered only by Mauritius Attractions for the benefit of our customers. We offer our customers the option to purchase an open voucher for any of the activities we offer. This voucher can be used during a period of 3 months from the date of its purchase.
When ordering an open voucher, you are not required to book the activity for a specific date.
By ordering an Open Voucher you benefit maximum flexibility regarding the date of the desired activity as you will be able to choose your preferred date for this activity during a later stage when you already have full knowledge of your schedule of the trip.
After finalizing your order of the open voucher you will receive by E-mail an immediate confirmation of your order and of the payment made by you.
The open voucher for the relevant activity (or activities) you have purchased will be sent to you by E-mail within a maximum of 3 working days from the day the order was made.
The open voucher with its reference number is your confirmation of the order and of the payment made by you, and it entitles you to go on and enjoy the activity/attraction you have purchased.
Please note that in case you order any activity which takes more than 1 day (over night cruise trips, diving courses, or any other), the preferred date represents the date on which you would like to start the activity.
Once you decide on the specific date on which you would like to have the activity, please inform us on this date by an E-mail sent to Mauritius Attractions (Email: info@mauritiusAttractions.com) or by using the online form on the Contact us page.
Following the receipt of this information we will act in order to reserve the activity you have purchased on the time and date you have requested, and we will send you an E-mail confirming your reservation for this specific date.
Reserving an Activity with an Open Voucher: In order for us to process your reservation request in full and provide you with the activity on your preferred date, we advise to place your request for reserving the activity a minimum of 20 days prior to the date on which you would like to go/use the activity. All reservations are subjected to availability.
In some cases, due to reasons beyond our control (cases of no availability, national holidays and such) it will not be possible to provide the activity on your preferred date. In such cases, we will offer you alternative dates for reserving the activity, and will personally discuss with you all possibilities in order to find the best solution which suits you most. In case we will not be able to find any alternative date or solution which will be acceptable by you, we will offer you full money back while only deducting our credit card processing fees as detailed in our cancellation policy.
Please note that the Open Voucher is only valid for use for the relevant activity for which it was purchased and is valid for a period of 3 months from the day of its purchase. Meaning, the activity must begin during the 3 months validation period of the open voucher = must go on the activity within a maximum of 3 months from the date of its purchase.
Ordering an activity for a specific preferred date – how does it work?
This option will entitle you to reserve and guarantee your place for the activity you desire on a specific time and date that suit you most, and to do so as part of the initial order process.
When choosing the option to order an activity for a specific date, you will be asked to enter the preferred date for the activity you have chosen as part of the order process. Please note that in case you order any activity which takes more than 1 day (over night cruise trips, diving courses, or any other), the preferred date represents the date on which you would like to start the activity.
Immediately after finalizing the order, you will receive an automatic E-mail confirming your purchase and the details connected with your order.
The final confirmation of your reservation of the activity for your preferred date will be sent to you by E-mail within a maximum of 3 working days dating from the day the order was made.
During the 3 days period, we will act in order to reserve the activity you have ordered on the terms you have requested (according to the preferred date, the number of participants etc).
Reserving the Activity on a Specific Preferred Date: In order for us to process your order request in full and provide you with the activity you desire on your preferred specific date, we advise that you will order the activity a minimum of 20 days prior to the date on which you would like to go/use the activity. All reservations are subjected to availability.
