About the Golfing Experience at Mauritius Gymkhana Club

The Mauritius Gymkhana Club, being the most ancient golf course in Mauritius, may not feature all the complexities of modern golf courses, but it is perfectly maintained. It is situated in Vacoas, located in the centre of the Island, nestled in a sun-drenched countryside and surrounded by forestry.

The golf course started as a 9-hole and was increased to 18-hole in the 1950's. Today the golf course is an 18-hole, par 68 of 4,870 meters long.

The golf course is open to members, tourists and locals, and visitors may apply for temporary membership. This is an excellent opportunity to experience a Mauritian Golf course boasting international standards!

The Mauritius Gymkhana Club is the most affordable 18-hole course in Mauritius with all the facilities you would expect, including the 18-hole golf course, recreational facilities, bar, restaurant, swimming pool, tennis courts, squash court, fitness centre, padel courts and a foot five pitch.
