La Nicoliere Reserve Hike – Half Day hiking:
The starting point for this hike is the lake of La Nicoliere. There you will meet the guide and prepare for the hike.
The trail will take you on a trip crossing rivers and forests with breath taking views onto the Lake of La Nicoliere and of the Northern islets.
La Nicoliere - is a private property, yet maintained by the national forestry department, on a hill side overlooking the reservoir of La Nicoliere in the North of Mauritius. In La Nicoliere there is a small lake surrounded by naturally preserved hill-slides, where you will find vegetation and plant life which is totally different from what you normally see.
During this hike you will discover a great hiking trail where you may come across stage, monkeys and wild boars.
Water, Juice and snacks will be provided during the hike.

Minimum age requirement: 10 years and above
Duration: The entire trip will take half a day: from 9:00 am - 12:30 pm.
