Unique 4x4 (jeep) trip to discover the true beauty of Mauritius Nature.

During this trip you will be able to see big part of the island from high above and to discover its many beautiful nature trails.

This jeep trip offers travelling in maximum convenience of a Toyota Land Cruiser Jeep, with a personal experienced guide to show you around, and to answer any questions you may have.

You will get to see the island from the top of hills and mountains, and to discover the beautiful nature, fauna and flora of Mauritius. This excursion jeep tour will take you to special places where the usual bus and taxi tours can’t go, places of real beauty hidden away.

As part of this jeep tour you will enjoy a delicious lunch at a local Mauritian family house where you will taste the delicacies of the Mauritian cuisine.

Included in the price is a full lunch and drinks with a Mauritian family, access to nature reserves and private properties, full transportation including pick up and drop off at your hotel and a personal experienced travel guide.

Jeep Tour Course:

The guide will come to pick you up from your hotel / place of accommodation at around 07:30am to start your full day jeep tour.

As part of the tour you will get to see the area of Tamarined waterfall - there you will go for a short walk down the hill to enjoy a fantastic view of the waterfall and of the valley. Afterwards you will visit a private ground on the Simonet Mountain. In this private ground it is possible to find deer, wild boars and monkeys, and from the top of the Simonet Mountain, you will get see a beautiful view of the west and south-west coasts of Mauritius.

The jeep tour will continue through the villages of Long Mountain, Pamplemousses, Ilot, Moka, Cote Dor and Henrietta.
You will get to see another great viewpoint of the north coast and of the central plateau. Next stop will be in the city of Curepipe, where you will get to enjoy a delicious traditional Mauritian lunch.

During this tour you will get to discover small roads in the sugar-cane and vegetables fields, and see more viewpoints hidden away from the main roads and tracks.

At the end of the jeep trip (at about 17:00), the driver will take you back to your hotel.

The vehicle is a Toyota Land Cruiser (with AC) that can transport a maximum of 6 passengers
