If the fear of being exhausted is holding you back, you have nothing to worry about! This Coastal Hike is a relatively easy route that anyone, regardless of fitness level, can complete. It's a popular hike among teenagers as well as the elderly, and it requires no prior expertise.

Situated in the village of Souillac, Gris Gris is widely renowned for its sea cliffs, which offer visitors a spectacular view from the top - a sight not to be missed. Because this area is not protected by coral reefs, heavy waves smash straight on the cliffs, causing tremendous splashes of water.

It is one of the most popular places in Mauritius where you can delight your eyes with incredible sea views. The area's tall cliffs drop suddenly to the water, and the cool Indian Ocean winds blow year-round. The natural beauty of Gris Gris makes it unique of its kind.

Also included in this package is a 200 metres river trek, which is a form of hiking or outdoor adventure activity. It is a combination of trekking and climbing and sometimes swimming. You will definitely enjoy this activity especially if you have never tried it before; it will be a unique experience for you!

It is a fairly easy trail and you will be guided by professionals throughout this journey. Perfect if you wish to de-stress, relax and enjoy the amazing views of the tropical nature the island has to offer.

On your way, you might notice some of the secret caves of Gris Gris; although it is not recommended to step in, you might have a look from afar. You might also be able to get inside the natural pond where you will be able to feel the natural waves lapping against the volcanic rocks.

While you’re on the beach, do have a close look at the shore, you might be blessed with sea shells along your way which could be a great souvenir to cherish.
