For the most adventurous fishing fans, a few days fishing trip to one of Mauritius Fishing Banks is a true must, so check our trips to Soudan Bank and St. Brandon.About Le Souffleur
Embark on this journey to the South of the island for a taste of something different at Le Souffleur!
Mauritius is well known for its beautiful beaches with turquoise waters which are perfect for swimming but for those who wish to get a taste of the wild and ruggedness of Mauritius, Le Souffleur is just the place for you!
Le Souffleur has an impressive cliff where you will be able to take-in the spectacular view of the Indian Ocean crashing against the lava rocks of the cliff. With the pressure of the waves crashing against the cliff, water entering the small holes will make a ‘whistling’ sound and at Le Souffleur, we can only recommend you to look out for the spot where you can witness the magic happening.
While swimming is not recommended due to the rough waters, you can definitely strap on your hiking shoes and go hiking at Le Souffleur and witness the Indian Ocean in all its splendour. Be sure to bring along your camera to capture the captivating sight of the blue waters against the dark rocks.
Located between Blue Bay and Souillac, Le Souffleur is accessible through the village L’Escalier and due to the rugged terrain, it is highly recommended to access Le Souffleur with a four wheel drive.
Little tip: You can also include the famous Pont Naturel, the naturally formed bridge, in your visit which is not very far from Le Souffleur.
