In order to make your first windsurfing steps as easy as possible, the equipment which is used at the windsurfing school is the latest equipment made especially for beginner windsurfers.
All the windsurfing basic courses take place in front of the windsurfing center in a protected and shallow water lagoon. This is certainly the best spot for windsurfing in Mauritius, with ideal sideways wind and shallow water lagoon. The whole lagoon is surrounded by a reef, which is 600 meters off the beach.
The perfect calm shallow water inside the big lagoon offers the ideal conditions to practice the basics controls and skills of windsurfing.
In order to guarantee ideal windsurfing conditions, all the beginners courses are done solely during the morning time, when the winds are lighter, and allow easier control and maneuvering of the wind-surf.

If you aren’t quite ready to take the plunge into a longer windsurfing course, then the 2 hours windsurfing course is a great way to try and experience windsurfing.
The 2 hours beginners course, offers you to require the very basic windsurfing skills, and to have a “taste” of windsurfing.
This course can be completed in one day.
6 hours Beginners Windsurfing Training Course:
The 6 hours course, will introduce you to the world of windsurfing. You will learn basic windsurfing skills, and achieve more skill and confidence in controlling and maneuvering the wind-surf.
The 6 hours beginners course will give you skills, and more confidence to enjoy windsurfing individually in the future. This course is recommended for those looking for more than just a short taste of windsurfing.
This course is done over 3 days.
10 hours Beginners Windsurfing Training Course:
The 10 hours course will provide you with the basic skills of windsurfing and at the same time will prepare you for advanced windsurfing courses.
In addition to the basic windsurfing skills, you will also learn a selection of maneuvers and windsurfing techniques.
You will be much more confident controlling the windsurfer and riding the waves in the open sea.
The 10 hours beginners course also prepares you toward any future windsurfing activities and advanced courses.
With the completion of this course you will be a beginner windsurfer.
This course is done over 5 days.

About the Mauritius Windsurfing center:
The windsurfing center is located in the South west of Mauritius, near Le Morne Peninsula. The center is set on a beautiful spot right on the beach with palm trees, clear beach, and beautiful turquoise lagoon creating a prefect setting. The water edge is only few meters away from the center.
In addition, selections of facilities are accessible for you to use such as the beach restaurant near the center and the facilities of the hotels nearby.
To offer maximum security to surfers, the center has two rescue boats.fully equipped and available at any time for any emergency, rescue or any other.
