Photo Safari at Wolmar Reserve:

Discover the nature reserve of Wolmar.
The Wolmar reserve is situated at the South west of Mauritius with close proximily to the village of Flic en Flac.
This photo safari trip is done on foot, travelling in slow phase along the forest trails. As part of this safari photo trip you will discover the remains of the sugar cane plantation dating back to the beginning of the 19th century.
You will also get to see beautiful open spaces of the reserve on one side and the breathtaking fauna and flora of the deep forest on the other side.
Along the way, there will be amazing viewpoint of the west coast, the Black River mountain range and of the turquoise clear lagoons.
The Wolmar photo safari trip will end with a BBQ lunch prepared on the spot by the skilled staff and served in the shade of century-old Banyan Trees.

This photo safari trip takes place in Yemen natural reserve park. The Yemen reserve (also known as the Yemen Hunting Grounds) is located on the South West of Mauritius. The reserve hosts two of the longest rivers on the island – Rivière Rempart and Tamarin River – and is a haven for all sorts of native wildlife. The actual size of this natural reserve is of around 4500 hectares. Today, it is a private nature reserve where luxurious fauna and flora can be admired.
Yemen nature reserve, home to herds of Java deers (around 9,000), wild boars, hares, macaque monkeys, mongoose and the fruit bats live inside the reserve and abundant indigenous and exotic plants such as ebony, cassias, tamarind, pink pepper and many more are also found in this amazing natural reserve.
A visit to the Yemen Reserve is like stepping into the middle of the African savannah.
