Pereybere Beach is one among the most famous and busiest beaches in Mauritius yet it never fails to impress anyone who spends a few hours there. Surrounded by sand and the translucent water, you will be amazed by the beauty of the beach and the calm lagoon.
The Pereybere Beach is often considered as one of the best beaches for families with children or for inexperienced swimmers, as the sea is always calm with no waves and no strong currents. It also provides a safe space for swimmers which are marked by buoys.
The Pereybere Beach is also considered to be a fair spot for snorkeling where you are sure to enjoy great visibility and spot fish which are found a short distance from the beach. So be sure to pack your gear as it might be your lucky day!
You will find a lot of street food stalls at this very famous beach along with ice cream merchants, all of them are affordable and equally delicious. It is also located near many hotels and other facilities such as supermarkets and restaurants with a variety of menus.
Pereybere beach, like many other Mauritian beaches, tend to get busy during weekends hence it is recommended to go during weekdays and to reach there early to be able to find a good parking spot
