The Safari Jeep trip takes place in Yemen natural reserve park.
The park is located on the West Coast of Mauritius. It hosts two of the longest rivers on the island – Rivière Rempart and Tamarin River – and is a haven for all sorts of native wildlife. The actual size of this natural reserve is of around 4500 hectares. Today, it is a private nature reserve where luxurious fauna and flora can be admired.
Yemen nature reserve, home to herds of Java deers (around 9,000), wild boars, hares, macaque monkeys, mongoose and the fruit bats live inside the reserve and abundant indigenous and exotic plants such as ebony, cassias, tamarind, pink pepper and many more are also found in this amazing natural reserve.
A visit to the Yemen Reserve is like stepping into the middle of the African savannah.
The activity:
Come and enjoy a 2 hours amazing exclusive Safari journey in Mauritius in an open 4x4 Jeep (or on one of the other vehicles of the park) only for you, your family and your guests. These vehicles can be used by groups or individuals, for 2-hour safari tours within the natural reserve, including a short walk to the bats' sanctuary.
The Yemen Park is the perfect setting for Safari jeep trips were you will have a thrilling ride and will be able to see many beautiful animals such as Zebras, ostriches, African antelopes, Java deers, monkeys, ducks and geese in their naturals habitat, and will get to see extraordinary panoramic views of this breathtaking part of the island of Mauritius.

- The park allows any age to go on this activity, however as there are no special car seats for children in the jeep, our recommendation is to go on this activity from the age of 8 years
