Sail to Coin de Mire and feast on a delicious lunch after your snorkelling break - a sea break you need to have during your holidays on the island.

You will embark your yacht at 09:00 at La Balise Marina. The crew will welcome you aboard and you will be briefed on the yacht and its amenities like the cabin, the swimming platform and you will also get a glimpse of what awaits you on this cruise. Settle down and look ahead of you - you are headed towards an amazing day, one you can feel as the engine roars and your boat starts cutting through the sea surface.

Keep an eye out, the west coast often has dolphins and whales jumping and swimming by, so should you be in luck you might spot them.

While cruising to the north, feel free to move around on the yacht, discovering the cabins and enjoying the view of the ocean from different angles. A moment where the sea breeze brushes against your skin, the blue of the sea soothes your soul and the sun over your head uplifts your spirits. You will see the massive Coin de Mire island from kilometres away. It stands royally in the middle of the ocean and is such a pleasing sight with all the hues of green of the island contrasting with the blue of the ocean and the sky.

Your crew will anchor at a snorkelling spot near the island and you will be able to enjoy a nice swim at the reef. The reef is home to a variety of fish species that include Damselfish, Surgeonfish, Butterfly fish, juvenile Sailfin tangs, as well as tiny Pipefish and large Trumpet fish. Also, with some luck you may see some sea turtles.

Lunch will be served onboard with a premium menu on offer along with alcoholic and non-alcoholic drinks to quench your thirst. A vegetarian option along with a lobster menu is also on offer (for a supplement) - so there’s something for everyone . You will get to enjoy every bite as you will take in the beauty of the place. After your lunch, chill on the boat, soak in the sun, enjoy a chat between yourselves on the platform with your feet dipped in the sea.

When it is time to cruise back, you will be able to choose whether you want to get off at Sunset Boulevard in Grand Bay or at La Balise Marina. Relax as the yacht sails once again and take in as much of this extraordinary surrounding as you can.

From the moment you board the yacht till the end of the cruise, you will experience pure relaxation, along with personalized service by a dedicated crew and the most amazing scenery you could possibly wish for! About Coin de Mire

The Coin de Mire Island, also called Gunner's Quoin, situated 8 km north of Mauritius, is well known by divers as one of the best diving sites of the island. At an average depth of 6 metres (depth ranges from 3-9 metres), with crystal clear water offering great visibility, the snorkelling conditions are ideal year-round.

The island is a nature reserve and as such it is not possible to disembark on the island. For those who enjoy bird watching, native birds can be seen flying around or nesting in the cracks of the cliffs such as our famous- the “Pailles en queue”. The Coin de Mire’s highest point is at 142 metres.

About the Gran Turismo 40 Motor Yacht (GT40)

The Gran Turismo40 recreates the sport cruiser concept. The slender line of the Gran Turismo 40, underlined by her hardtop and well-designed side glazing, emphasise her pronounced sporty character. The vessel is a monohull type and is almost 12.7M long, offering plenty of room for passengers to enjoy.

The yacht has an electric bathing platform at the back, where you can have a BBQ. There is a lounge in the cockpit area with a complete fusion sound system as well as Forward sunbathing mattresses for relaxation in style.

The 2 cabins are air conditioned and the yacht also has a bathroom fitted. Beach towels and snorkelling gear are provided on the boat.

As part of this cruise, you will enjoy a delicious lunch and beverages aboard the yacht:

• You are returned to the same embarkation point or if you prefer you can disembark at Sunset Boulevard.
• No. of Participants: 2 - 8 pax (Note: This package is by default a private tour for 2 pax, but additional passengers can be accommodated and will have to pay a surcharge)
• Please note that 20% of the total charter cost acts as a non-refundable deposit (unless activity is cancelled by the Charterer). Our cancellation policy will apply only on the remaining amount of the charter cost.
