All along, you will travel in maximum convenience in an air-conditioned family car / minivan (for bigger groups), with an experienced driver/guide to show you around.

Below please find several possibility for a customized day tour:

  • Enjoy a customized tour which include visits to one of the many excursions we as part of the tour. For example you can go for the Underwater Sea walk / Submarine trip / Underwater scooter as part of the North Tour or go for the walking with lions excursion as part of the South West tour. You can choose to include any other activity / excursion as part of any other tour (under the limitations of time and distance of travel).
  • Enjoy a customized tour which cover a different combination of sights as part of the tour. For example you can choose to include the Crocodile park (part of the South tour) together with the Safari bird park (part of the South West tour) as part of one tour.
  • Enjoy a customized tour which include visits to selection of sights as per your preferences (under the limitations of time and distance of travel)

Additional information regarding the Customized Sightseeing Tour

Start & End times:

  • Duration: The standard duration of the customized sightseeing tour is 8 hours.
  • Extended Tour Duration: For a small additional fee you can extend the duration of the tour to up to 12 hours in total.
  • This private tour is offered every day
  • Standard Departure time: 9:00 am from your hotel / place of accommodation
  • Standard Return time: 17:00 pm back to your hotel / place of accommodation

(upon request it is possible to start or finish the tour in a different time)

Car Capacities:

You can choose from a selection of vehicles types:

  • Family Car - Up to 4 passengers
  • 6 Seater vehicle - Up to 6 passengers
  • Minivan - Up to 10 passengers

  • All drivers speak fluent English and French (Upon special request we can organize driver who speaks additional languages). The drivers, citizens of Mauritius, will be happy to provide you with information about Mauritius and each of its sights.
  • All drivers are very professional, time efficient and friendly. There is high emphasis on being always on time and providing reliable devoted service to customers.

  • Please Note: The customized tour is subject to time and region limitations
  • Pick up and drop off point should be the same location
  • The private tour is done in a private car / minivan (for bigger groups) and includes full transportation to all the sights, pick up and drop off from any hotel in Mauritius and a driver to show you around.
  • You are requested to inform us on your preferred itinerary for the day at least 48 hours before prior to the date of the trip, in order to plan and arrange the itinerary accordingly.

Transportation

The Transportation prices are Per Vehicle (and not per person). You can choose the vehicle type according to the number of passengers in your group.

Full day transportation (8 hours) including pick up and drop off from any place of accommodation in Mauritius.

  • Private Daily Tour in a family Car (for up to 4 people): 95 Euro
  • Private Daily Tour in a 6 Seater vehicle (for up to 6 people): 105 Euro
  • Private Daily Tour in a Minivan (up to 10 people): 125 Euro
  • Private Daily Tour in a Minibus (up to 22 people): 170 Euro
  • The cost of each additional hour (above 8 hours) is: 15 Euro/hour

The Prices are per vehicle referring to the number of passengers applicable for each vehicle type for a period of 8 hours.

When choosing this order option, you will be asked to enter your preferred date for going on the activity as part of the order process. This option will entitle you to reserve and guarantee your place for this activity on a specific preferred time and date that suit you most. Please note that in case you order any activity which takes more than 1 day, the preferred date represents the date on which you would like to start the activity.

By ordering an Open Voucher you will be able to choose your preferred date for this activity during a later stage (when you already have full knowledge of the schedule for your trip) and not during the order process. This way you benefit maximum flexibility regarding the date of the desired activity. The open voucher can be used to go on this specific activity during a period of 3 months from the date of its purchase.
