30 Mins Horse Riding at Lavilleon Adventure Park

This is your chance to experience a 30-minute horseback ride in the heart of nature at Lavilleon Adventure Park.

Whether you’re an animal lover or simply looking for a peaceful yet memorable activity, riding through breathtaking natural surroundings offers a refreshing escape from the ordinary.

• Minimum Age: 5 years old
• Number of Participants: 1 pax per session at a time
• Please note that horse riding is done one after the other, with a break after a 15-minute ride.
• Should there be a booking for 2 pax, the activity shall be done one after the other, with a short break in between every 15 minutes.
• This activity is not recommended for pregnant women.
• Suitable for all levels, including those with no prior horse-riding experience. Only experienced riders will be allowed to gallop.

Thrilling Zipline & Nepalese Bridge at Lavilleon Adventure Park

What’s a visit to Lavilleon Adventure Park without the thrill of the Zipline and Nepalese Bridge?

Zip through the air and cross the remarkable 280-metre wooden bridge suspended 85 metres above the lush rainforest canopy - all under professional supervision and strict safety standards. You also enjoy complimentary access to the iconic “Au Bout du Monde” platform.

Ebony Forest Sublime Sundowner – Guided Tour & Open-Air Safari

The Sublime Sundowner experience invites you into the heart of Ebony Forest for an immersive late-afternoon guided visit. Discover the story of Mauritius’ endemic flora and fauna, the historical significance of ebony wood during colonial times, and the conservation work actively restoring this once-threatened ecosystem.

Your experience includes a 30-minute raised walkway tour leading to the breathtaking Sublime Point. As daylight fades and other visitors depart, you’ll enjoy an exclusive sunset moment overlooking the west coast - drink in hand - surrounded by one of the island’s most preserved native forests.

As the forest transitions into evening, embark on an open-air safari where wildlife behaviour subtly shifts at dusk, offering a different perspective of this living ecosystem. Your visit directly supports Ebony Forest’s mission to restore habitats, protect endangered species such as the Echo Parakeet, Pink Pigeon and Mauritius Kestrel, and promote long-term environmental education.

• Duration: 3-4 hours
• Minimum number of participants: 2 adults
• Clients are requested to descend from Sublime Point before 17:00.
• The Flycatcher raised walkway exceeds 4m in height. Guests suffering from vertigo should inform staff in advance.
• You can request a later jeep tour in summer (1st November – 31 March) as the sun sets later. Should you wish to do some hiking, come earlier. If you just want to watch the sunset, then this is also possible.

Please note that the starting site for the day's itinerary depends on your place of accommodation, and the driver will brief you accordingly on the day of the trip.

• Reservation must be done and confirmed at least 48 hours in advance.
• Children under 12 years must be accompanied by an adult at all times. Any child not accompanied will be refused access. For visitors with young children, using the jeep to reach Sublime Point is advised for safety and comfort.
• Activities/ Facilities which are not included in your selected option are subject to an additional cost.
• Clients are requested to arrive 15 minutes before the activity time.

Ebony Forest Rules & Regulations:

• It is forbidden to bring any illegal substances, alcohol, firearms and/or generally any other object which is likely to be offensive, dangerous and/or illegal.
• It is forbidden to disturb or harass the animals and tranquillity of Ebony, i.e, by musical instruments, audio equipment, screaming, shouting, etc.
• It is forbidden and a criminal offence to remove any animal, plant, part of the landscape and/or any other structure and/or to damage or deface any of the aforesaid
• It is forbidden for any visitors to picnic, climb stone walls or trees, or litter.
• Any food and drink purchased within Ebony Forest Reserve must be consumed within the designated zones.
• Footwear must be worn at all times. No shirtless/topless dress is allowed. Bottoms must be worn at all times.
• Ebony Forest Reserve is a natural site and hence there are risks from falling branches and steep slopes. It also undergoes active forestry activities. Please pay attention.
• The Sanctuary shall not be responsible whatsoever for any loss, damage and/or theft of your personal belongings.
• Ebony Forest is closed on 25 December & 01 January.

To process any horse riding booking, the client MUST provide the following details:

• Weight of each participant
• Level of rider: beginner, intermediate or advanced

Transport is offered as a supplement and includes pick up and drop off from any hotel / place of accommodation anywhere in Mauritius.

The Transportation prices are per vehicle (and not per person). You can choose the vehicle type according to the number of passengers in your group.
