Zookeeper for a Day - Kids Package at Casela Parks
It is no secret that kids love to play pretend. And kids love animals. This is their calling - for one whole day, they will have the opportunity to actually be a zookeeper at Casela Nature Parks.
This is a hands-on experience that will give the children insight into the amazing amount of work that goes on behind the scenes at Mauritius' only Safari and Bird Park. Parents will not have to worry as the unique Zookeeper for a Day activity will surely keep the children busy, happy for hours and create wonderful memories for life!

Important: The Zookeeper for a Day Activity is offered to those aged between 4-14 years old. Entrance tickets are not included for accompanying adults.
Transport is available for an additional supplement and will include pick up and drop off from any hotel / place of accommodation in Mauritius.

- 10:30 - Snack break (Water/Juice/Biscuit)

It is hard to please everyone on a family holiday, especially kids! But the Zookeeper for a Day activity promises to make kids enjoy a day of fun activities with animals while educating them about the different ways of protecting and caring for them. Here's how it goes:
Welcoming little Zookeeper - Upon arrival at Casela Nature Parks, kids will be warmly greeted by staff and introduced to the day’s activities by their dedicated zookeeper host. They’ll also receive a special “Zookeeper for a Day” T-shirt to wear, helping them step into the role and feel like real zookeepers. A safety briefing will ensure they’re ready for the exciting day ahead.
A Day in the Life - Throughout the entire day, the little ones will be busy having direct encounters with the friendly animals of the park and taking care of these fuzzy friends. From food preparation to distribution and observation of animals, this enriching programme teaches them how to care for animals whilst spending time in a biodiverse environment.
Need a break? After a busy morning, children will enjoy a light snack of biscuits, juice, and water. A delicious lunch is also included, served between 12:00 and 13:00, giving them the energy to keep exploring and learning.
A Memorable Finale - The day wraps up with a group photo and a reflection session, where kids can share what they’ve learned and take home memories of this unique experience in the heart of Mauritius' African Savannah.
