Every evening the boat sets sail on a superb gastronomic cruise around Grand bay coastline. The boat cruises slowly and provides a truly romantic atmosphere.
The boat sails along the coasts of the bay, cruising along the calm waters of the lagoon, until it reaches a strategic point in the middle of the bay where you will enjoy a 360 degrees view of Grand Bay and its surrounding. The sight of Grand Bay and all the hotels situated along the bay during the night time is remarkable.
In order to maintain the intimate atmosphere and to guarantee personal service, the reservations is limited for a maximum of eight passengers only. With that, upon request, it is possible to reserve the boat for an exclusive-private cruise.
Boarding is at approximately 19.30. Welcome drinks and snacks are served on the deck just before the boat leaves its mooring at Pointe aux Canonniers (3km from Grand Bay) and heads towards the calm waters of the Grand Bay where it anchors. Throughout the cruise you will enjoy a selection of gourmet canapés prepared by chef on board the boat.
The boat has been rebuilt to offer a luxurious cruising experience while focusing on the passenger comfort. You can choose between sitting around a table on the lower deck where the welcome cocktail and the canapés are served, having a drink in the main dinning area, or head to the upper deck which offers you to enjoy a refreshing sea breeze under the open sky and great views of the surrounding.
Dinner is served at around 20:45. The dinner offers a unique culinary fine dinning experience and consists of 3 courses: starter, main course and a dessert. All dishes are personally prepared for you on the boat by the skilled chef. The dinner menu can be customized as per passenger’s wishes focusing on seafood, meat dishes or on vegetarian dishes. You can also enjoy a selection of soft drinks, cocktails and also wine during and after the dinner.
The return to the shore will be at around 23.00.

About the boat:
Built in 1929 at the Taylor & Smith shipyard, the boat served for many years for transporting Mauritius’ most important personalities of that period.
During recent years, this 19 tones ship, made in the highest quality of teak wood, has been fully restored to its former glory days using the finest materials and with much skill.
The boat was completely rebuilt to accommodate cruises in maximum comfort.
Today this is Mauritius most special and very luxurious motor-yacht boat, offering a unique romantic dinner cruise.
