Walking with Lions Mauritius - A Face-to-Face Encounter with the King of the Jungle

As part of this package, you also get to walk with lions and make your safari dreams come true, only at Casela Nature Parks!

• Let the Safari Begin - Your adventure starts the moment you arrive. Hop aboard the safari bus and enjoy the ride past tigers and cheetahs before reaching the lion reserve. Once there, the safari team will welcome you with a quick chat about safety (because, you know... lions!) and introduce you to your furry hosts for the day.
• Time for the Feline Encounter - Now for the main event—it’s time to meet your new pals in their natural enclosure. Feel the sun on your face and the thrill in your chest as you stroll alongside the lions. And yes, you might even get to give them a pat! A moment that could well be a movie scene from Narnia...   
• A Walk to Remember - While walking with the lion, you will get to discover the amazing place where those creatures live. See them walking around, lazing on the grass, enjoying a nap, playing with each other, hopping on the rocks on the river banks and scaling the trees. Your rangers and keepers will also elaborate on the reproduction and conservation program for your newly made fur-buddies.

Quad Biking Trip 

One hour of intense fun to appreciate the exclusivity and the charm that prevails in the reserve. More than a quad bike outing, this is an epic journey in the wilderness.

• Helmet on for an incredible ride - Once on site, the guides will explain to you the rules for when you will be out there. After a last check of this four-wheel drive, it takes a few minutes to initiate the quad drive. So, pay attention clearly & saddle up, this is going to be a bumpy ride!
• Solo or Double Ride - You can enjoy this amazing experience individually or together with your partner in crime by sharing a double quad. Feel the thrills of riding your super cool quad in the wild, accompanied by the guides. We promise, the ride will have you smiling non-stop. 
• Quad Biking in Yemen Reserve - The quad biking trip allows you to discover the Yemen Nature Reserve - the largest in Mauritius! The course takes you up the park hills, down some valleys, across rivers and all while enjoying the great surroundings.

No experience required! The quad bike’s controls are very easy to learn and master and within minutes you will feel like an experienced quad bike driver.

The 400m Zipline & 4 Ziplines 

The zipline experience at Casela Nature Parks begins with a 10-minute shuttle ride from the Visitor’s Centre through sugarcane fields and bumpy rocky trails. By the time you reach Thrill Mountain, you’ll be ready for the action-packed excitement ahead.

Take on the long 400m zipline, followed by 4 additional ziplines, for a fast-paced, adrenaline-fueled adventure with stunning views and pure thrill!

Nepalese Bridge

The Risk Factor Bridge is made for nature and thrill enthusiasts who are looking to take their thrills to new heights

The suspended Nepalese bridge guarantees a burst of adrenaline. A walk in the air on wooden platforms suspended by solid ropes high above lush tropical green forests is sure to get your heart pumping. Cross the canyon on our spectacular suspension bridge where you can peacefully enjoy the view of the beautiful surroundings

Note: Only light snacks and drinks are allowed inside the park. If you plan to purchase food onsite, please communicate any special dietary requests or allergies at least 5 days before your activity date.

Note: Activity time will be subject to the time slots available at the park. If clients miss their specific time slot booked, there will be no money refund or rescheduling.

• As this is a full-day package, the visit and activities will be under time limitation.
• Booking is required at least 24 hours in advance.
• All times above are indicative and will be reconfirmed at the time of booking.
• You must arrive at least 30 minutes before the start of the activity, otherwise a 100% cancellation fee will apply.
• Access will not be granted without the presentation of a ticket or voucher.
• Minors must be accompanied by an adult to sign their disclaimer
• The 4D cinema is not available until further notice.
• Giraffe viewing is available between 10.30 - 15.30 (except Mondays and Thursdays).
• Safari Bus is a complimentary activity offered with the entrance ticket and if missed, there will no refund/rescheduling.

Walking with Lions

• Age Restriction: 15 years old and above (Proof of age is required on the day of your activity)
• Minimum Height: >150cm (4.9 feet)
• Maximum number of participants: 12 pax/session
• A visitor under the age of 18 must be accompanied by their legal guardian, at all times. The legal guardian shall sign the disclaimer form on behalf of the Minor.
• The Big Cat keepers have the right to not let a customer participate in the activities if the restrictions are not met.

Quad Biking

The Quad biking activity is not being offered at the African Safari anymore, a new itinerary has been proposed for the wellbeing of the animals.

• You have to be over 16 years old and a height of at least 1m35 to drive a quad.
• Children above the age of 12 and a height of at least 1m35 can enjoy this activity alongside an adult on a double quad bike.
• An initiation circuit is compulsory for the guides to evaluate the driving capacity of each client before starting the activity.
• If clients fail the initiation, the client will go on a Quad Bike accompanied by a guide and no refunds will be given.

Zipline Adventure and Nepalese Bridge

• Minimum Height: 1m35
• Maximum Weight: 115 kg
• Age Restriction: 6 years old and above
• The Ziplining adventure (400m & 4 ziplines) or Nepalese Bridge is confirmed at the time of booking and depends on availability.

Health & Safety Notes

• All visitors must adhere strictly to any security protocols and directives of the guides, during any controlled interactions with animals, especially before touching and/or approaching any animal.
• Please do not scream, shout, kick, slap or jump up and down while in close proximity to the animals; it may scare the animals and cause an accident.
• All participants must be physically and mentally capable to perform this particular activity.
• Participants should not have any major hearing or visual impairments. If the health and safety restrictions for your activity are not respected, "NO" refund will be considered. These rules are for your safety.
• Activities are still carried out in rain, and no refunds will be given if a client chooses to not participate. In the event of adverse weather, activities may be rescheduled for security purposes by the Management of the Park.
• IMPORTANT NOTE: Participants should ensure that they understand either English, French or Mauritian Creole, which are the languages used to explain the safety procedures of the activities. Unless clients (who do not understand any of the mentioned languages) provide a translator, they cannot take part in any of the activities that include a safety talk for safety reasons.

The Prices are per vehicle referring to the number of passengers applicable for each vehicle type.

Excursions & Entry Tickets Packages

When ordering the Safari Adventures Day Package you benefit from a special discounted package price on these trips and excursions.

Included in the price are: Walking with Lions, 1 hours Quad Biking Trip, Zipline Adventure and entrance tickets which covers the visit of the park.Please note that in the case of even numbers of participants (For example:2, 4, 6, 8, 10) each two participants will ride one double quad. In case of an odd number of participants (1, 3, 5, 7, 9), one of the participants will have to ride a single quad bike.
