About the Try Dive Package - Initiation Dive in Flic en Flac
Have you always wondered what it’s like to breathe underwater? Ever been fascinated watching documentaries of the colourful underwater world? Wish to make your vacation more fun and exciting by diving into the azure waters?
This Try Dive package in Mauritius offers the ideal opportunity to dive amidst the bright aquatic creatures; even if you aren’t quite ready to take the plunge into a certification course!
Try Dive or Initiation Dive is a safe, thrilling and unique experience that you shouldn't miss when in Mauritius! Under the direct supervision of an instructor, you will learn how to breathe underwater using the scuba gear and how to swim around during the training session. And since we can’t talk while we are underwater, you’ll be taught the basic hand signals to communicate.
You’ll then head out for the sea dive which will have you put your new found diving skills to use and explore the underwater dimension on the Western Coast of Mauritius. Enjoy a short boat trip to the dive site in Flic en Flac, where you can explore the undersea world and witness the sheer marvel with your own eyes!
And there is no need to worry about being thrown into the deep end, your diving instructor will be there to help and guide you as much as possible.

- You are advised to arrive 15 minutes before your activity time.
- You will be required to fill in an insurance & disclaimer form upon arrival
- The activity is accessible to anyone in good physical condition - not suffering from cardiovascular, hearing or respiratory problems.
- For safety reasons, the diving trip is not suitable for pregnant women.
- It is your duty to inform whether you have any medical or physical handicap at time of booking.
- Dive sites are only confirmed in the morning depending on the sea conditions.
- The dive will still be carried out under rainy conditions unless the safety of the guests is compromised.
