La Pirogue enjoys a prime setting on the white sandy stretch of Flic en Flac, one of Mauritius’ most popular beaches, surrounded by tropical gardens and close to the island’s natural and cultural attractions. Its west coast location is perfect for swimming, sunsets, and easy access to nearby sites.

The resort is conveniently situated just minutes from Casela Nature Parks, Tamarina Golf Club, and Cascavelle Shopping Mall. For those travelling further, the airport is about an hour’s drive away, making La Pirogue both accessible and ideally placed for exploration.

Rooms are single bungalows immersed in a Marvell tropical garden and a few steps from the beach: absolutely unique and exclusive! Lovely beach, large, white sand and very well equipped. Good choice of restaurants. Personally, I have adored the Magenta seafood restaurant. Staff is great, excellent cleaning! Definitely recommended!

Excellent Liked · Layout of the complex with plenty of space between the pretty Bungalows and the beautiful (palm) beach lets you forget the size of the hotel. We liked the restaurant area with the different thatched islands. We also liked the food selection at the buffet. It has something for everyone, and we liked the food. We appreciated the beach towel service. Disliked · There are a lot of employees, all of whom are very nice, but often are not there where you need them. At the beach bar, the value for money is not right at all. At the cocktail bar at the show stage, the service and quality of the drinks were right for us. The prices are also, as written several times, very high there.
