Breakfast is complimentary at Nativ Lodge & Spa, so you don’t need to pay extra. A garden, a non-smoking area and a smoking area are provided for the comfort and benefit of guests. As for swimming lovers who wish for some uncommon nature excitement, the nearby river is a great place to enjoy a refreshing swim.

Location

Situated at the area of the village of Mahebourg, you benefit easy access to the village and the many additional great sites located at the south east of Mauritius.

Mahebourg is where the whole world seems to meet, where different cultures and traditions merge. While touring Mahebourg, do not forget to visit the big market on Mondays, the naval museum, the Mahebourg waterfront and different restaurants serving exquisite cuisine.

Also close to Blue Bay beach, Pointe d’Esny, Shandari beach and Cambuse beach, it is a place where you will find close entertainment in nature. The beaches, with their clear blue turquoise lagoons and white soft sand, are heavenly. At the picturesque Blue Bay, there will be a range of water sports and sea activities offered, including visits to the nearby islets.

Ile aux Aigrettes is one of them. It is a small island off the coast of Blue Bay which is renowned as a protected natural park where you can find different species of birds and giant tortoises of more than a 100 years old.

The Sir Seewoosagur Ramgoolam Airport is within 10 minutes access.

Lodge Types

There are eight lodges in all:

• 4 standard types
• 4 prestige types.

The décor of all the lodges reflects the historical dimension of the place. They are inspired by contemporary and minimalist design. Each lodge is identified by a color and a theme corresponding to a part of the landscape of Mahebourg.

The site on which the Nativ Lodge & Spa is built was once a lime kiln. The remains of stones demolished on site were used in the making of the walls of the rooms. As raw materials, wood and concrete are merged into a unique style.

The lounges overlook a private garden furnished with sun loungers and a private swimming pool is available n the prestigious release.

What is particular with the lodges is that each of them has a distinguishing color and theme related to an aspect of the Mahebourg landscape.

Note: prestige lodges, each have a luxurious and personal swimming pool.

The bar-restaurant fully opens on the river La Chaux and the garden, allowing you to peacefully enjoy savouring local cuisine in beautiful nature.

The head chef offers delicious fusions using local produce: fruits and veggies from the garden and the market, and seafood from the local fishermen. There are exquisite dishes that will make you wish to visit the restaurant more often!

The Nativ Lodge also offers an evening program, consisting of music events, local dance show or many other events for you to discover and lean more on the vibrant local culture and music.
