You can also swim leisurely at the main pool which is found near the restaurant. The swimming pool offers an incredible ocean view; this is where you can relax and let go. If you wish for some more fun adventures you can opt for the quad bike or archery at an extra cost.
The thatched roof restaurant overlooks unique nature views and welcomes guests with its delicious local meals that can be taken in the dining area. At breakfast there is a choice of either a full English or Continental meal. Dinner is a set 3-course meal.

It is situated in the extreme South of Mauritius close to Souillac; on black basalt cliffs, in a pure nature setting overlooking the Ocean and the Anguilles River Gorge. Nearby attractions and points of interest are Le Saint Aubin, La Vanille Crocodile Park, Gris Gris and its crying rock, Le Batelage old sugar port, Rochester Falls, and the Sir Robert Edward Hart Museum. Further down the coastline, southwest, the UNESCO World Heritage Site “Le Morne Mountain” is a recommended visit.
Chamarel has quite a number of tourist restaurants. For real local Creole food, the visitor should visit Le Barbizon's Table d’hôte. Marie Ange, the woman of the house, prepares fresh food obtained from the island and her garden.
