Mirage 2 apartment, luxury and style, beachfront, extraordinary roof-top pool

MIRAGE 2 is one of the two ground floor apartments of a modern beachfront building in Pereybere, the exclusive part of Grand Bay. It is 1.5 km from the center of Grand Bay.

The apartment has three bedrooms with en-suite bathrooms. The second ground floor apartment is not for rent.

Mirage 2 has direct access to the garden and to the beach. The top floor hosts our apartments Amaranth 1 & 2, which belong to the same owner.

Discover the white sandy beach and enjoy the sunshine for sunbathing on the beach or relax on sun loungers under parasols by the rooftop pool, the entire surface of the building being designed around a beautiful communal swimming pool available to the residents.

From the pool, the symbolic Gunners Quoin Island is to be admired in one of the most amazing views of Grand Bay.

Every single tourist amenities and attractions, bars, restaurants, nightclubs, supermarket, boutiques and shops of all kinds are to be found in a radius of 1 km.

Mirage 2 Apartment, situated at Pereybere, Mauritius

Pereybere is at the epicenter of all tourist activities of the north coast of Mauritius. The renowned Pereybere Public Beach is within walking distance of the apartment.

Several boats offer tours and trips to the northern islands and set sail on the popular beach of the village.

All varieties of water sports like snorkeling, scuba diving, windsurfing, water skiing, parasailing are offered along the white sandy beach that stretches to Grand Bay on one side and to Cap Malheureux on the other.

For friendly family activities and to discover the underwater marine world various excursions such as Glass Bottom boat trips, the Semi Submarine and the Underwater Submarine are offered in the immediate area.

The more adventurous can enjoy: - the Underwater Sea Walk, a Scooter Cruiser Underwater Experience or the Underwater Scooter Adventure.

The Pereybere restaurants and bars such as Beach Restaurant, Pereybere Café or Red Cat Lounge offer delicious Mauritian dishes and refreshing drinks.

A kilometer away in Grand Bay, the choice of activities, restaurants or shops and duty free shops is considerable. Several nightclubs will delight the night owls. Two supermarkets and one Hypermarket are within a few minutes’ drive.

Sport-fishing boats await you to Sunset Boulevard to tease the marlin, tuna and dolphin fish.

In the region, tourist attractions include the Pamplemousses Botanical Garden, The Château de Labourdonnais, (an historical colonial home now a museum) and its orchards, The Sugar museum ‘’ L’Aventure du Sucre ‘’ where visitors can discover the history of the sugar cane industry, deeply connected to the history of the country.

Port-Louis, the capital city, is less than 30 minutes’ drive away.

Mirage 2 (Ground Floor)

Entering the building you will find two apartments on the ground floor. The left is not for rent. Mirage 2 is the second waterfront apartment to the right. The door opens into an entrance with a graciously decorated sideboard and you will see the beautiful lush garden apartment with its terrace leading onto the lawn and, further, to a gate onto the white sandy beach. This luxury apartment will charm you with its direct beach access, its garden slightly overlooking the beach and stunning views over the Indian Ocean. The famous Gunners Quoin Island, appears in the distance and you can see the fleet of pleasure boats sailing by on the way to the northern islands every morning and returning from their trips every afternoon.

Mirage 2 - Interior

A fully equipped kitchen next to the living room, including a ceramic stove, hobs, microwave oven, extractor hood, American fridge, fully household appliances and a granite tabletop. It offers high-quality kitchen equipment including a Bosch dishwasher, a Nespresso coffee machine and elegant utensils.

Opposite the kitchen, a TV room, including a large corner sofa, a sisal carpet, a wooden coffee table, a LCD flat-screen TV with satellite channels, and an internet connection with free WI- FI access.

A covered terrace, with its own dining table for 2 persons, a Weber grill and a sitting area facing a beautiful view over the lagoon, is a perfect place to relax.

A dining room, with a beautiful wooden table for 8, open onto the living area consisting of a sofa and matching armchairs. The room is of a good size with large windows and bright colors.

The master bedroom (Bedroom No. 1), which has stunning views over the lagoon, equipped with an air conditioning system includes a large canopy bed of 1.60m, an en suite-bathroom and a flat-screen TV.

The all-white bathroom has a bathtub, a glass shower, two washbasins and a separated W/C. A wardrobe occupies two walls, equipped with a safe.

Bedroom No. 2 is located near the master bedroom. It is equipped with an air conditioning system, has a double bed of 1.60m and an en-suite bathroom consisting of a granite washbasin, a shower and a W/C. It is decorated in a white and beige shade and has a sisal carpet, a beautiful picture and light curtains. Lamps in the shape of starfish are installed on the bedside tables located in front of a white wardrobe.

Bedroom No. 3 is located in front of the guest room No. 2. It is equipped with an air conditioning system and has two single beds, an en-suite bathroom with a shower, a washbasin and a W/C.

The rooftop pool offers a relaxing setting and lavish entertainment with deckchairs, sun loungers and parasols on different levels for privacy. The view from the pool is naturally beautiful. You can admire the Gunners Quoin Island, which rises like a monument in the boat-dotted deep navy blue and turquoise waters of the Indian Ocean. A shower room next to the pool is available for the residents.

The almost three identical holiday apartments feature each a living area of 165 sqm. Mirage 2 is on the ground floor and has direct access to the garden and the beach. A common rooftop pool 5m x 3m with a depth of 1.20 m has a truly amazing view.

The apartment has a terrace overlooking the lagoon and includes a dining table and chairs for 2 persons, a Weber grill and a sitting area with 2 sun loungers.

Staff of Mirage 2

The housekeeper and cook, Laura, maintains the apartment in perfect condition and surprises residents with delicious Mauritian cuisine. Laura works every day from Monday to Saturday from 09h00 am to 14h00 pm, with the exception of bank Holidays.

She prepares breakfast and cooks one meal per day, a lunch OR a pre-cooked dinner.

Purchasing groceries is your responsibility.
