I am Villa Paprika, an ultra-smart sophisticated villa in the north of Mauritius, exquisitely built of rare wood and basalt stones cut by hand. I hide my exclusive pool in an enchanted garden.

My owners have personally supervised every step of my construction. They provided my interior design with exclusive craft items coming from around the world to bring out my tropical beauty for your pleasure.

Villa Paprika, situated at Pointe aux Canonniers, Mauritius

Located 40 meters from the lagoon in the village of Pointe aux Canonniers in the north of the island, to which it has a private access on a private lagoon-front plot, villa Paprika is a small paradise to spend a relaxing tropical holiday. Come and discover its 3 bedrooms, full of charm, decorated in a contemporary style and its stunning indoor pool.

The villa is 1.5 km from the center of Grand Bay. The northern region is the densest in hotels, bars, restaurants, shops and seaside activities. There are several beaches in the area, between Pointe aux Canonniers and Grand Gaube, but two of the most beautiful stretches of sand of the island are located in Mont Choisy and Trou aux Biches 1 km from the villa.

Let this epicenter of the tourism industry of Mauritius be your first choice if you need a maximum of entertainment and nautical activities, whilst benefiting from a multitude of amenities within 1.5 km.

Discover Port Louis, the capital of the island, for its shopping malls, its old neighborhoods, its market, its historic buildings, its old houses, its museums….

Visit the famous Pamplemousses Botanical Garden, with its ancient trees and its giant water lilies, before proceeding to L'Aventure du Sucre, the Sugar Museum to discover the island through the history of the sugar cane. L’Aventure du Sucre is the largest and most beautiful museum of Mauritius. It is set in a former sugar factory, about 30 minutes from the villa and is in the immediate vicinity of the botanical garden. Enjoy fine dining at ‘’ Le Fangourin ‘’, the restaurant of the museum.

Or visit the Domaine de Labourdonnais, located 20 minutes from Pointe aux Canonniers with its plantation house, the Château de Labourdonnais, built in the nineteenth century. Do not miss to visit old orchards, the artisanal rhum distillery, and do not miss to taste the products of the domain (juice, fruit jelly, rum ...) at the Restaurant du Château.

The village of Pointe aux Canonniers has much to offer to the most demanding tourists and those who prefer to avoid places so tourist-oriented will find intimacy on the nice beaches of the area.

This five-star Mauritius Villa is located in Pointe aux Canonniers, 1 Km from the famous Grand Bay village, on the northern coast of Mauritius.

Behind a carved wooden entrance gate, lies a small Eden garden with an attractive pond under the surveillance of statuesque lions. Villa Paprika, is beautifully furnished and ideal for the sunny climate of Grand Bay with its high ceilings and open spaces. Palm leaf-shaped tropical fans and controlled air conditioners cool and ventilate all parts of the villa.

The spacious lounge, decorated in green shades, has two comfortable sofas, a flat screen TV, a multichannel audio system and a set of wooden tables and sideboards. It opens onto the dining room which has a table that seats eight persons. The lounge also overlooks the sheltered terrace with another dining area for 8 which includes a wooden table with benches. The pleasant atmosphere is illuminated by majestic glass lamps hanging from the ceiling.

At nightfall, when the garden lights are on, the stone angels that decorate the pool seem to have fun in their tropical paradise.

The kitchen of the elegant villa of the north coast of Mauritius, comprises a bar, an American fridge, an induction stove with a separate oven, a hood, a microwave oven and a dishwasher. Closets and drawers contain all necessary kitchen equipment and dishes of a very good quality for eight persons..

The adjoining utility room has a washing machine, a large sink and an iron and an ironing board. The utility room has also a gas stove. The guests W/C is located opposite the telephone and WIFI live-box.

The master bedroom, which exudes luxury and comfort, occupies the whole right wing of the villa and has its own access to the terrace. It is decorated in beige and wood tones and features a double bed of 1.80m covered with colorful cushions. For entertainment, it is equipped with a flat screen TV with satellite channels. The en suite bathroom is really a major advantage of this wonderful villa.

It has a large effect rain shower and a private outdoor shower, two washbasins in tropical style, separated W/C, an ultra-modern dressing room with a wardrobe, a built-in safe and a wall mirror. The room is air- conditioned.

Bedroom No. 2, which overlooks the pool, is on the left wing of the villa and has a double bed of 1.80m. Its floral decoration in beige shades is enhanced by a surprising picture of a local artist. The flat screen TV with satellite channels is installed on a dresser in front of the double bed. The adjoining dressing room, with its large mirror and built-in safe, leads to an en suite refined bathroom with a shower rain, a W/C and two porcelain washbasins and an outdoor shower. The room is air-conditioned.

Bedroom No. 3, overlooks the terrace and pool. It is also on the left wing of the villa. It is decorated in beige tones and includes two single beds, decorated with cushions and a bed spread with an olive color. The vast wardrobe with an integrated safe offers all the necessary storage space. The en suite bathroom includes a rain shower, W/C and two washbasins with amazing mirrors. The room is air-conditioned.

The pool area, located in the center of the property, is decorated with colorful tropical flowers, palm trees and an impressive banyan tree, tropical tree par excellence. It is equipped with a comfortable wooden deck, a wicker sofa and its matching coffee table. A canvas that seems to float in the air, protecting an open lounge area, contributes to the charm of the lovely garden while protecting itself from the sun.

Paprika Villa has its own beach! Behind a gate, on the other side of the road, residents can relax in the grounds of a private space, forming part of the property, overlooking the lagoon and enjoy their holiday dream on a beach in the Indian Ocean.

An internet connection with free Wi-Fi access is available throughout the villa and the phone is on the stand in front of the guests W/C, allows to make free local calls.
