Surely, you will seek far and wide; leaving no stone unturned to spot the perfect holiday home, as you are convinced that at least once a year you deserve it for your special holiday on a beautiful beach of a tropical island!

It is true that I am not easy to be located even though I am on one of the most beautiful beaches in the world ... Only the most adventurous will ever find me as my name indicates: I am a rare and hidden gem on the shores of Mauritius, the star and key of the Indian Ocean.

Every morning the sun rises directly in front of me. I stand caressed by the trade winds arriving from a long trip across the sea. At my feet, the turquoise lagoon competes with the beautiful tropical flowers that decorate so generously my garden.

Very large and elegant at first glance, I'm beautiful, and welcoming ... As in a dream, I am your holiday paradise by the sea. My owners jealously guard me and share me only with some special guests.

After staying under my enchanted roof, with a dreamy smile, you will continue to think of those memorable days and nights spent in my company.

Villa Red Coral, situated on Palmar Beach, Mauritius East Coast

The villa is situated at Palmar, between Belle Mare and Trou d'Eau Douce on the east coast of the island where vast lagoons and endless white sandy beaches await you.

After Belle Mare and its internationally famous beach resorts, the scenic coastal road to Trou d'Eau Douce stretches along the coast with the blue and turquoise waters of the lagoon on one hand and plantations of onions, eggplant and chilies on the other.

Whilst admiring the small villages and picturesque beaches on this part of the island, you will reach the small village bearing the name of Palmar, with a group of private villas and with several more hotels on the waterfront.

Villa Coral Red, a rare jewel as its name indicates, is at the end of a sandy road off the main road, well-hidden at the bottom of a driveway.

This area is known worldwide for the beauty of its nature and nautical activities such as sailing, windsurfing, and kitesurfing.

Some of the world's best hotels of the island are nearby and offer excellent restaurants, bars and 18-hole golf courses.

If you move away from the coast, the Domain de l'Etoile offers many outdoor leisure activities such as horse riding, quad riding, and archery. Guided nature walks and excursions in protected natural areas of the island can be booked at Ferney Valley, which is an extension of the Domain.

The world-renowned, Ile aux Cerfs, a must see attraction in Mauritius, is 15 minutes' drive away.

Villa Red Coral

This huge 4-level beachfront villa is a cozy cocoon. The villa is furnished so that couples, families and groups of friends feel completely at ease.

Ground Floor

On the ground floor, the cotton curtains and chairs with bright colors create an airy holiday feeling. The main entrance is located next to the TV lounge where wicker furniture, a flat-screen TV set on a carved table and walls in ochre and cream perfectly harmonize with the modern paintings.

The dining room is opposite the kitchen and includes a sideboard, an elegant table and chairs for up to 10 persons. Further, the living room with sea view consists of a striped orange sofa, matching armchairs and chairs, a solid coffee table and a colorful carpet.

The covered terrace is secured by a sliding glass door and a foldable safety grille. Offering stunning views of Palmar Bay, it has a seating area and a dining area where you can share friendly moments around a large table or comfortably seated on wicker chairs.

On the ensuing Alfresco terrace, under the shade of two parasols, chairs and sun loungers are available to enjoy the sun and the beautiful coastal scenery.

The light wooden-cabinets kitchen has a black granite worktop. It is equipped with a gas stove, a microwave oven, an American refrigerator, a chest freezer, tableware for up to twelve persons, a water fountain, two sinks and a dishwasher. All necessary kitchen utensils are also available. The adjoining utility room has a sink and a stove including two burners.

Opposite the hallway, two steps lead down to the W/C's guest, which is decorated with pastel drawings depicting ancient times.

Bedroom No. 1, with a garden view, is the only bedroom situated on this floor. Decorated in beige and brown colors, it has a double bed in cane and wood, a built-in wardrobe, an en-suite bathroom with a large shower, a washbasin and a separate W/C. It is air-conditioned.

First Floor

Upstairs, an open terrace, converted into a living area, creates a tropical ambiance. You will appreciate its freshness in the late afternoon. For maximum safety, the terrace is equipped with security shutters.

The Master Bedroom is accessed through the lounge of this terrace. It features a magnificent antique desk and chair, a double bed and romantic style Moroccan elegance lamps. The bedroom has a wonderful view over the Indian Ocean, the reef and Palmar bay.

The large dressing room has a full-length mirror, plenty of storage spaces and a safe.
The bedroom is air-conditioned.

The en-suite bathroom has a large shower, a bidet and a W/C.

Located next door, the bedroom No. 3 is furnished in a playful North-African theme. It includes a double bed, a wooden hairdresser with an interesting mirror, a large wardrobe and a small desk. The ocean view at sunrise is breathtaking. The bedroom is air-conditioned.

The separate bathroom, equipped with a shower and a porcelain washbasin, is shared with bedrooms No.4 and 5. Those bedrooms are on the attic just under the gable which gives them a great view and a special charming atmosphere. The bedroom No. 4 has a single bed and a wardrobe, while the bedroom No. 5 has two single beds.

The bedrooms No 4 and 5 are ventilated, not air-conditioned.

Garden Level

The lower level of the Villa Red Coral is converted into an independent apartment which opens onto the garden and the beach. It is ideal for couples without children, teenagers or residents wishing more privacy and intimacy. The apartment has an outdoor covered lounge leading to the beach, a bedroom with a double bed, a built-in wardrobe fitted with a safe and an indoor lounge with a sofa and table for four persons.

The bedroom is air-conditioned.

There is a bathroom with shower, washbasin and W/C.

The open plan kitchen is equipped with a refrigerator, a Bosch stove, a microwave oven and two sinks.

Villa Red Coral offers a living area of 320 square meters on 4 levels. The yard with an area of 1000 square meters, is fenced on three sides except on the lagoon.

The dining room has a table and chairs for 10 persons.

The living room has a LCD TV with satellite channels Canal-SAT and includes a sofa, armchairs and a coffee table.

Covered Terrace/Lounge

The covered terrace/lounge with view on the lagoon, has a coffee table, sofa, armchairs, TV and wooden security shutters. There is also a dining table for 10 persons overlooking the beach.

Terrace/Esplanade

The villa has an outdoor terrace/esplanade with a wooden deck overlooking the lagoon and consisting of a set of outdoor furniture that include an extendable dining table and chairs for 10 persons and sun loungers.

Kitchen

The kitchen is fully equipped with an electric oven with five gas burners, an extractor hood, a fridge, a freezer, a granite tabletop, full kitchen facilities, a dishwasher, and two stainless steel sinks.

Bedroom No.1

The bedroom opens onto the garden and has a double bed, a secure closet and an en-suite bathroom with a washbasin, a W/C and a shower. It is air-conditioned.

First Floor

Bedroom No. 2 (Master bedroom)

The bedroom, with beautiful sea views, has a double bed, a storage closet, a safe, an en-suite bathroom with a shower, a washbasin, a bidet and a W/C.

In the Attic

Bedrooms No. 4 and No. 5

Bedroom No. 4, with a sea view, has a single bed. Bedroom No. 5, with a garden view, has two single beds.
Those 2 bedrooms are ventilated, no air-conditioning.

The wooden esplanade of the ground floor shelters a separate apartment at the lower garden level. The apartment is excellent, offering an air-conditioned bedroom with a double bed, an en-suite bathroom with shower and W/C, a fully equipped kitchenette, a dining area, a living room, and a furnished covered veranda overlooking the lagoon.

A perfect accommodation for a couple who wish to enjoy privacy.

The apartment is available to guests for groups exceeding 8 persons and is not rented independently of the villa.

Staff of Villa Red Coral

The charming cook, Marie Claude, has been working in the villa for twelve years. She loves to spoil guests with her Mauritian dishes and is always willing to share her vast knowledge or explaining the best way to prepare fish in the traditional way. She works every day from 9h00 am to 14h30 pm, except on Sundays and Bank Holidays.

She prepares a meal per day, a lunch OR a pre-cooked dinner. Purchasing food is your responsibility.

The helpful and meticulous housekeeper, Martine, has worked before for hotels in the region and is now responsible for all house works such as cleaning, laundry and ironing. She works every day from 9h00 am to 14h30 pm, except on Sundays and Bank Holidays.

Her duties do not include ironing of the guests' clothes.

The gardener Jean-Claude, Marie Claude's husband, who also serves as a handyman, comes several times a week to take care of the lawn and garden plants.
