Conveniently located 40 km from the capital city and 57 km from the airport, it serves as a great base for exploring the island’s northern region. Grand Bay is also a popular starting point for catamaran excursions, where guests can enjoy scenic ocean views and may even catch glimpses of dolphins or flying fish as they cruise along the coastline.

Beyond the reef, the panorama opens up to lush landscapes and endless stretches of beach, offering a peaceful escape from the town’s vibrant atmosphere.

A cosy 3 star hotel that feels like a 4 + star - great value. The friendly staff were the highlight of this trip, but there is much more to like about the hotel. The hotel maximises its appeal by having the whole beach frontage dedicated to public areas. You have a lovely view when sitting at breakfast, by the pool, or under the palm trees at the beach....rooms, very few have sea views, but all have lovely garden views and balconies to compensate. The bed was comfortable, the shower powerful, and the room spacious. The public areas don't get too crowded - we were always able to pick a good spot by the pool or on the beach. There are two restaurants - one serves the typical buffet food, the other ( open air on the beach) serves a la carte. We really enjoyed their lobster special. The buffet breakfast was also very enjoyable with a good range. We quickly get bored with eating at the same hotel every night, so we're very happy it's only a five minute walk along the beach into town, and a good range of private restaurants, bars and shops. We found it well lit and safe to walk along the beach at night. We were very happy with our choice.

The location was fantastic, not a far walk to the shops and we could buy local food along the beachfront. Staff were very friendly and helpful. I enjoyed the evening events at the resort, it was very entertaining, especially the Indian and Sega dance evening. Loved the beach and the glass bottom boat trip. Resort needs an upgrade, especially the breakfast display area. The breakfast was average, and can improve with different menus.

Liked: We liked the friendly staff and great location. The Kids Club was also pretty awesome as it allowed us to leave our kids at the hotel for the day and enjoy a spa treatment and explore a bit. Disliked: The units were very small in comparison to the other units we stayed at during our trip and the bed was a bit hard and uncomfortable. Breakfast wasn't good at all and they had the same things everyday.

The staff there made you feel special and they were so warm. The location of this property is amazing with everything at a walking distance. The rooms were comfortable, especially with two kids. The double decker beds made it really convenient. Food at the resort could have been a bit better.

The staff is very kind, the hotel offers many things to do, the environment is amazing, the location is perfect, nearby you have many things to do ( casinò, restaurants, disco, beach, excursions ). You can use the tennis pitch, the gym, play snooker, table tennis and so on. Food is really delicious and a great location for the restaurant on the beach, the leisure and sport team offers something new to do. It is a paradise.
